Santa Monica
In order to get used to our new senior citizen status, we went by bus to Santa Monica yesterday. The busses were very efficient and quite fun. We spent the day walking around the town, on the Pacific beach and watching fishermen and pelicans compete for fish around the pier. The result was pelicans 3, fishermen 0.

ReplyDeleteI went to the gym 4 times last week, and cycled 48k, and went rock climbing yesterday...and didn't fall off the wall but fell down the stairs on the way home instead :-( Never mind, I had leek and potato soup for tea which made it all better. Also, Emma Vasey got in contact, she has 2 little ones, they look very cute! Cleaner's coming tonight to discuss terms, I'm so excited! We've also established that everyone has cleaners so we (well at least I) don't feel so bad.

Glad to hear you are both ok and enjoying it - all is well with Mum or Granny Vera as she is better known to some of your followers . Uncle David is interviewing what we suspect may be a Gay couple to rent the bungalow this weekend (they want to talk to him about decor - oh much Joy! ) . So no probs over here -just enjoy your holiday and being old
